February 4 - 5, 2020 within the international conference Nordic Pellets Trade Representative of Russia in Sweden Mr. Aleksandr Abramov, Trade Representative of Russian Federation in Sweden made a presentation on the state and export potential of the wood pellet market in the Russian Federation. The conference was attended by representatives of the leading energy companies in Sweden and northern Europe, equipment manufacturers, investment companies.

During the meetings and conversations, Swedish pellet consumers informed about their interest in expanding imports from the Russian Federation, establishing long-term business ties with Russian companies and establishing industrial cooperation.

The Nordic Pellets Conference is organized annually by the Swedish Bioenergy Association (Svebio, www.svebio.se) and is a key event in the bio-energy industry in northern Europe.
